April Pride holds a B.A. in Architectural History from the Architecture School at the University of Virginia. Upon graduation, she moved to San Francisco and pursued a career in design, working at an exclusive, residential interiors firm. In 2002, April was accepted into the Master of Arts in the History of Decorative Arts and Design offered by Parsons School of Design.

Upon graduating with her M.A. in 2004, she moved to Seattle and established an interior design firm. Four years later she launched the innovative kaarskoker, which has been featured in countless national magazines and blogs and includes Nordstrom, Amazon and The Home Depot as retailers.

As the Creative Director of eastern goods, she curates, markets and retails an estate of antiques and vintage goods imported by Lucia Lawrence.
