Authentic Designs is my favorite lighting manufacturer. Period.  I have at least a dozen installed throughout my house.  All the pieces are handcrafted in Vermont.  While many cost more than $200, they are unbelievably reasonable considering their exceptional quality and US origin.  Below are classic sconces, chandeliers and table lamps that each work beautifully with kaarskoker candle sleeves and are less than $200. The finishes shown on these candlestick lamps are a sampling of the finishes available for the items below. (Finishes shown from left to right: Antique Brass, Special Verdigris, Special Pewter, Special Gunmetal & Basic Brass.  Lamps available in 11.5″, 16″ & 18.5″ ranging in price from $47.74-$51.07, respectively.) The chandeliers featured below are $181.48 and $232.51 (>$200, I know! but could not resist). Absolutely, Authentic Designs is an inspiration for the kaarskoker motto “tradition redefined.”  These sconces are classic- inspired by Early American lighting fixtures yet unbelievably sculptural and contemporary.  I see classic pieces with great proportions and hand-crafted detail, thus, traditional.  Add kaarskoker and ‘Voila!’ a new element to the classic- a redefinition.
