FIXTURES <$200: EBAY
eBay is a great source for inexpensive lighting! Many of the links to the fixtures may have expired by the time this read because eBay is a time-sensitive auction site. This serves more as an example of the wonderful pieces available for discounted prices and how to customize with kaarskoker candle sleeves. Also, I am not promoting specific eBay Sellers.
These Georgian-inspired sconces and 3-light chandelier would work well together in any bathroom or dressing room. The sconces will nicely frame a mirror or vanity and the chandelier is a great classic piece. I would recommend Gold & Silver Cone or Sahara Y-Knot to tone down the polished brass and create an elegant piece. Blue & Gold Basket will play on the gold brass and create a beautiful conversation piece. Any of the solids, particularly classic colors such as Navy Solid and Forest Green Solid will complement its Early-American style. These pieces retail on eBay for $29 and $97.90, respectively.
The brass scone and brass chandelier below also play on the same Georgian theme and pair nicely with the above mentioned sleeves. DIY lighting with kaarskoker candle sleeves to give these classic fixtures a bit more of YOUR personality. This 10-light chandelier retails for $399 but can be found on eBay for $89.99.
Or this large crystal 1920s French chandelier Buy It Now for $189. Doesn’t it just look sad with those white plastic sleeves? Imagine it with Pink & Silver Clover or Sage & Silver Basket!

This bronze 19th-century French chandelier is exactly the type of light fixture that needs an alternative to its current candle covers. WITW would a piece like this suffer with the same cheap details as a fixture from a hardware store? Orange & Brown Cone is my hands-down pick!
